# ConfigBot DF - Schedule - How to Add or Update Schedule Change Policy

Schedule - Schedule Change Policy.

The following article will help to explain how you can create a new Schedule Change Policy in Dayforce using Configbot.

1. Enter your Username and Password and click at the submit button to login.

2. Navigate towards the "Home screen" and click on the "Schedule" module tile under Schedule Setup V2.

3. Select the workspace that best suits your preferences or requirements.

4. Navigate to the workbook (in my case, Iteration #1) and open the workbook.

5. The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. Navigate to the worksheet tab labeled ‘Schedule Change Policy’.

6. Enter the Unique Reference code and Name for Schedule Change Policy you are creating, then add Effective From and Effective To date along with description and other details as per your relevance. Once done set the processing status to "Pending".

7. Close the workbook and navigate back to ConfigBot. Under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, click the hamburger menu, and select the "Start Configuration" option from the dropdown menu.

8. The Start Configuration pop-up window will appear. Enter your Dayforce password and provide any relevant execution notes. Then, select the checkbox for Schedule Change Policy. Finally, click the "Confirm and Start" button.

9. You can later click the information icon to monitor the progress of your iteration.

10. Once the status shows "Complete," return to the workbook to verify that the Schedule Change Policy is created. The corresponding rows and their fields will be highlighted in green, indicating successful execution. Additionally, the Processing Status for particular rows will be changed to "Processed”.

11. Navigate to your Dayforce instance to confirm the changes. Under Schedule change policy, you’ll see the newly created Schedule Change Policy “Acceptance Policy” and its related data.

This confirms a successful execution where a new Schedule change policy was create in schedule module using ConfigBot, ensuring accurate data transfer and configuration within Dayforce.
