ConfigBot WD - How to add and update Citizenship Statuses in Core HCM.
CORE HCM – Citizenship Statuses
The following article will help to explain how you can add or update Citizenship Statuses in Workday through Configbot.
- Enter your Username and Password and click at the submit button to login.
- Navigate towards the "Home screen" and click on the "Core HCM" module tile.
- Select the workspace that best suits your preferences or requirements.
- Navigate to the generated workbook (in my case, Iteration #1) and open the workbook.
- Navigate to the worksheet tab labeled ‘'Citizenship Statuses''.
- Enter the Citizenship Status Description and other details in their respective columns. After entering details set the Processing Status of Processing Country to Pending.
- Close the workbook and navigate back to ConfigBot. Under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, click the hamburger menu, and select the "Start Configuration" option from the drop-down menu.
- The Start Configuration pop-up window will appear. Enter your Workday password and provide any relevant execution notes. Then, select the checkboxes for Citizenship statuses. Finally, click the "Confirm and Start" button.
- You can later click the information icon to monitor the progress of your iteration.
- Once the status shows "Complete," return to the workbook to verify that the Citizenship Status has been successfully added or updated. The corresponding rows and their fields will be highlighted in green, indicating successful execution. Additionally, the Processing Status for particular rows will be changed to "Processed”.
- To confirm the changes made, navigate to “Citizenship Statuses” window by searching it through the search bar in Workday Home page. There you can see a new Window will pop up, search for the name of the Country, press Ok.
- You can view various details such as Citizenship Status, Description and more. Within the grid, you can sort and filter the data as needed and by clicking on Magnifying Icon you can view that specific Citizenship Status.
This confirms a successful execution where a new Citizenship Status was added or existing details were updated in the Core HCM module using ConfigBot, ensuring accurate data transfer and configuration within Workday.
