ConfigBot WD - How to add and update Region in Core HCM.
CORE HCM – Region
The following article will help explain on how you can add or update a Region in Workday through Configbot.
- Enter your Username and Password and click at the submit button to login.

- Navigate towards the "Home screen" and click on the "Core HCM" module tile.

- Select the workspace that best suits your preferences or requirements.

- Navigate to the generated workbook (in my case, Iteration #5) and open the workbook.

- The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. Navigate to the worksheet tab labeled ‘Region’.

- Enter the Region Name, Code and Type in their respective columns. Fill the remaining fields according to your requirement and set the processing status to pending.

- Close the workbook and navigate back to ConfigBot. Under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, click the hamburger menu, and select the "Start Configuration" option from the drop-down menu.

- The Start Configuration pop-up window will appear. Enter your Workday password and provide any relevant execution notes. Then, select the checkbox for Region. Finally, click the "Confirm and Start" button.

- You can later click the information icon to monitor the progress of your iteration.

- Once the status shows "Complete," return to the workbook to verify that the regions have been successfully added or updated. The corresponding rows and their fields will be highlighted in green, indicating successful execution. Additionally, the Processing Status for each row will have changed to "Processed.

- To confirm the changes made, navigate to the 'View Region' window by searching for it using the search bar on the Workday Home page. Once there, search for the region you created, then click the 'OK' button to view the region and its details.

- Once you select the region, you can view various details such as members, roles, etc. You can also access more detailed information by clicking the three dots (ellipsis) above, depending on your account access. Additionally, you can change the region selection by clicking the Related Actions button. Within the grid, you can sort the data by applying different filters.

This confirms a successful execution where a new region was added in the Core HCM module using ConfigBot, ensuring accurate data transfer and configuration within Workday.
