CORE HCM - Generate a Workbook

The following article will help explain on how to add new Iteration and Generate a workbook in configbot.

1.      Enter your Username and Password and click at the submit button to login.

2.    Navigate towards the "Home screen" and click on the "Core HCM" module tile.

3.    Select the "Workspace" in which you want to generate the workbook.

4.     Click at the add new iteration button on the top left corner.  

Fill out the form. By referring to the steps below.

5.   Select Company Instance the host address will be fetched automatically as per the company instance.
6.   Add Iteration Number.
7.   Select Your workspace.
8.   Select the instance type.
9.   Enter the company id (Service id).
10.   Enter the username for your company ID.
11.   Write a description of your iteration.
12.   Click at the submit form button to add your Iteration.

13.   Back in ConfigBot, click the hamburger menu for the iteration that we just created and select the generate workbook option.

Fill out the form. By referring to the steps below.

14.   Enter your Workday Password
15.   Add Execution Notes (As per your convenience)
16.   Click the Select all check box to retrieve data from all tabs.
17.   Click the Confirm and Start button to generate your workbook

18.   By clicking the “I” icon you can see the status of your execution, including total time, tracking id's and logs.

19. Once completed, you will see all your information in the workbook which Configbot fetched from the Workday instance.

This concludes the process of adding ietration and generating workbook inside workspace in any module using ConfigBot, ensuring accurate data transfer and automation within Workday.
