Org Setup/ HR Admin -

The following article will help to explain how you can create or update a new PayClass in Dayforce using Configbot.

  1.  Enter your Username and Password and click at the submit button to login.

  1. Navigate towards the "Home screen" and click on the "Org Setup/HR Admin" module tile under Org Setup/HR Admin.

  1. Select the workspace that best suits your preferences or requirements.

  1. Navigate to the workbook (in my case, Iteration #2) and open the workbook.

  1. The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. Navigate to the worksheet tab labelled ‘PayClass’.

  1. Enter the Unique Name and Reference Code, then add relevant data as per your relevance. After completing data entry across all relevant tab sections, set the processing status to pending.

  1. Close the workbook and navigate back to ConfigBot. Under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, click the hamburger menu, and select the "Start Configuration" option from the dropdown menu.

  1. The Start Configuration pop-up window will appear. Enter your Dayforce password and provide any relevant execution notes. Then, select the checkbox for PayClass. Finally, click the "Confirm and Start" button.

  1. You can later click the information icon to monitor the progress of your iteration.

  1. Once the status shows "Complete," return to the workbook to verify that the PayClass is created. The corresponding rows and their fields will be highlighted in green, indicating successful execution. Additionally, the Processing Status for particular rows will be changed to "Processed”.

  1. Navigate to your Dayforce instance to confirm the changes. Under PayClass, you’ll see the newly created PayClass “OT”.

This confirms a successful execution where a new PayClass was create in Org Setup/HR Admin module using ConfigBot, ensuring accurate data transfer and configuration within Dayforce.
