ConfigBot DF - Attendance - How to Add or Update Incident Type.

Pay Setup V2 - Attendance

The following article will help to explain how you can create or update a new Incident Type in the Pay Setup V2 Module in Dayforce using Configbot.

  1.  Enter your Username and Password and click at the submit button to login.

  1. Navigate towards the "Home screen" and click on the "Attendance" module tile under Pay Setup V2.

  1. Select the workspace that best suits your preferences or requirements.

  1. Navigate to the workbook (in my case, Iteration #2) and open the workbook.

  1. The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. Navigate to the worksheet tab labeled ‘Incident Type’.

  1. Enter the Unique Object Name and Description for Incident Type you are creating, then add relevant data as per your relevance. After completing data entry across all relevant tab sections, set the processing status to pending. Close the workbook.

  1. Close the workbook and navigate back to ConfigBot. Under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, click the hamburger menu, and select the "Start Configuration" option from the dropdown menu.

  1. The Start Configuration pop-up window will appear. Enter your Dayforce password and provide any relevant execution notes. Then, select the checkbox for Incident Type. Finally, click the "Confirm and Start" button.

  1. You can later click the information icon to monitor the progress of your iteration.

  1. Once the status shows "Complete," return to the workbook to verify that the Incident Type is created. The corresponding rows and their fields will be highlighted in green, indicating successful execution. Additionally, the Processing Status for particular rows will be changed to "Processed”.

  1. Navigate to your Dayforce instance to confirm the changes. Under Incident Type, you’ll see the newly created Incident Type “Stanford”.

This confirms a successful execution where a new Incident Type was created in Attendance module using ConfigBot, ensuring accurate data transfer and configuration within Dayforce.
