ConfigBot DF - Shift Setup V2 - How To Add Shift Labor.
The following article will help to explain how you can create a new Shift Labor in Dayforce using Configbot.
- Enter your Username and Password and click at the submit button to login.

- Navigate towards the "Home screen" and click on the "Shift Setup V2" module tile under Scheduling Setup V2.

- Select the workspace that best suits your preferences or requirements.

- Navigate to the workbook (in my case, Iteration #2) and open the workbook.

- The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. Navigate to the worksheet tab labeled ‘Shift Labor’.

- Enter the Unique Name and reference code for Shift Labor you are creating ,and other details as per your relevance.. In the other section select similar shift labor then add the labor metrics type and code for it. Once done set the processing status to "Pending".

- Close the workbook and navigate back to ConfigBot. Under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, click the hamburger menu, and select the "Start Configuration" option from the dropdown menu.

- The Start Configuration pop-up window will appear. Enter your Dayforce password and provide any relevant execution notes. Then, select the checkbox for Shift Labor. Finally, click the "Confirm and Start" button.

- You can later click the information icon to monitor the progress of your iteration.

- Once the status shows "Complete," return to the workbook to verify that the Shift Labor is created. The corresponding rows and their fields will be highlighted in green, indicating successful execution. Additionally, the Processing Status for particular rows will be changed to "Processed”.

- Navigate to your Dayforce instance to confirm the changes. Under Shift Labor, you’ll see the newly created Shift Labor“QA Tester” and its related data.

This confirms a successful execution where a new Shift Labor was create in Shift Setup V2 module using ConfigBot, ensuring accurate data transfer and configuration within Dayforce.
