Configbot DF - Translations - Earnings and Deductions

This article will help you to add or update translations for Earnings using the translations module.

  1.     Enter your Username and Password and click at the submit button to login.

  1.     Navigate towards the "Home screen" and click on the "Translations" module tile under Translations

  1.     Select the workspace that best suits your preferences or requirements.

  1.  Navigate to the workbook (in my case, Iteration #1) and open the workbook.

  1.     The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. Navigate to the worksheet tab labeled ‘Trans-Earnings'.

  1.   Enter the Unique Reference Code for the Earnings you want to add or update, then select Language, Enter Earnings name Translation and Description. Once done set the processing status to "Pending".

  1.   Close the workbook and navigate back to ConfigBot. Under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, click the hamburger menu, and select the "Start Configuration" option from the dropdown menu.

  1. The Start Configuration pop-up window will appear. Enter your Dayforce password and provide any relevant execution notes. Then, select the checkbox for Earnings. Finally, click the "Confirm and Start" button.

  1. You can later click the information icon to monitor the progress of your iteration.

  1. Once the status shows "Complete," return to the workbook to verify that the Translation is added for specific Earning. The corresponding rows and their fields will be highlighted in green, indicating successful execution. Additionally, the Processing Status for particular rows will be changed to "Processed”.

  1. Navigate to your Dayforce instance to confirm the changes. Under Departments, you’ll see the newly added translation for “Audit Department”.

This confirms a successful execution where a new translation was added for Earnings in Earnings and Deductions Module using ConfigBot, ensuring accurate data transfer and configuration within Dayforce.
