Benefits Setup - Benefits - Compare Config

This article will help you to learn how the Compare config works in Benefits Module inside Configbot.

1.  Enter your Username and Password and click at the submit button to login.

2.  Navigate towards the "Home screen" and click on the "Benefits" module tile under Benefits Setup.

3. Select the workspace that best suits your preferences or requirements.

4. Navigate to the workbooks (in my case, Iteration #5 & #6) and open the workbooks.

5. The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. Navigate to the worksheet tab labeled ‘Benefits Config’.

6. Within the Compare By column, you will now see two options: Reference Code and Reference Code + Name. For one workbook, select Reference Code, and for the other, select Reference Code + Name. Then run the comparison to review the differences between the two comparison methods.

7. Close the workbook and navigate back to ConfigBot. Under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, click the hamburger menu, and select the "Compare" option from the drop down menu.

Compare Itr# 5 with Itr# 6 and vice versa as we have selected two different compare options in both workbooks.

8. Once the status shows "Complete," return to the workbook to verify the compare in Eligibility and Eligibility Operator.

A. In the workbook where we selected compare based on reference code you can see in Eligibility that only reference code is highlighted as red if the objects don't exist, same results for Eligibility Operator.

B. In the workbook where we selected compare based on reference code and name you can see in Eligibility that both are highlighted as red if the objects don't exist, same results for Eligibility Operator.

So this is how through Configbot you can use multiple options before comparing workbooks from different instances as per your relevance.
