Generate Workbook - Users

 

The following article will help explain on how you can Generate Workbook for Users Module using Configbot.

 

  1.     Enter your Username and Password and click at the submit button to login.

 


  1.     Navigate towards the "Home screen" and click on the "Users" module tile under System Admin.

 



  1.     Select the workspace that best suits your preferences or requirements.





  1.     Navigate to the workbook (in my case, Iteration #4) and open the workbook.




 

  1.     The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. Navigate to the worksheet tab labeled ‘User Config’.



  1.   Enter the Role Name in the Role Column, such as we are adding "Ceridian Administrator" in this case.




  1.     Close the workbook and navigate back to ConfigBot. Under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, click the hamburger icon, and select the "Generate Workbook" option from the drop-down menu.



 

  1. The Generate Workbook pop-up window will appear. Enter your Dayforce password and provide any relevant execution notes. Then, select the checkbox for Users. Finally, click the "Confirm and Start" button.

 


 

  1.     You can later click the information icon to monitor the progress of your iteration.

 



  1.  Once the status shows “Complete,” return to the workbook. Here, you will see all users who have the “Ceridian Administrator” role assigned listed in the sheet. You can then update their general information, properties, payroll, and other details as required. To generate users data, you must first add the relevant role in the User Config tab each time.



This confirms the successful generation of the workbook, where role-specific user data was pulled using ConfigBot, ensuring accurate data transfer and configuration within Dayforce.
