ConfigBot DF - Pay Setup - Workbook Generation through Pay Setup Config.
The following article provides a comprehensive guide on how to use Config sheet to generate a workbook with selected objects from a Dayforce instance
- Enter your Username and Password and click at the submit button to login.

- Navigate towards the "Home screen" and click on the "Pay Setup" module tile under Platform.

- Select the workspace that best suits your preferences or requirements.

- Navigate to the workbook (in my case, Iteration #8) and open the workbook.

- Within the workbook, navigate to the Config sheet. There, you can view the different filters for the various sheets inside the workbook

- Here you can apply different filters for each sheet, such as “Equals,” “Not Equals,” “Starts With,” “Contains,” and “Ends With.” If you want to include all objects, select “All” before generating the workbook.

- You can apply different filters based on object name, as in this case we have applied different filters for each sheet.

- Close the workbook and navigate back to ConfigBot. Under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, click the hamburger menu, and select the "Generate Workbook" option from the dropdown menu.

- The Generate Workbook pop-up window will appear. Enter your Dayforce password and provide any relevant execution notes. Then, select the checkbox for the sheets to which you have applied filters Finally, click the "Confirm and Start" button.
Note: For sheets that are split, ensure that you select all check boxes related to those sheets.

- Once the status shows “Complete,” return to the workbook. You will see that, for each sheet, the specified objects are generated along with their related data in other sheets.
Below, you can see filter-based objects for Pay Policy and Entitlements. Similarly, you can navigate to each sheet to view the corresponding filter-based data.

This is how you can use the Pay Setup configuration to quickly generate the data of your choice from Dayforce using ConfigBot.
Thank you.
