ConfigBot For Dayforce Guide - New Workbook and Google Sheets Access

This article will guide you through the necessary steps to access workbook in Google Sheets.



  1.     Enter your Username and Password and click at the submit button to login.



  1.     Navigate towards any module and select the workspace that best suits your preferences or requirements.



  1. Click at Add New Iteration button to add new iteration for your workbooks.



  1. Inside add iteration window, Enter iteration number, select your workspace or create new, then add necessary details such as username and company ID of your Dayforce Instance. Add any relevant description and click at submit button to create iteration.



  1. Once the iteration is created, click at the workbook icon to open the workbook.



  1. If you are logged in through your company account, you may face access issues when accessing Google Sheets.





  1. To resolve this issue, navigate towards the drive.google.com and follow these steps to create a new google account on your work email.


A. Click at the Sign In Option



B. Click at the Create Account button and Select Personal Use option.



C. Enter your name and other relevant details.



D. In the next step, select "Use your existing email" option. Then Enter your work email.





E. You will receive the code on your work email, please enter the code to process with account creation steps.








F. If you have any previous session logged in to this email, you can delete the session it won't affect your data.







G. Once the guest session is deleted, click at Next and create the password for your new Account






H. Then Scan the QR Code from your phone camera app to proceed with next steps.




I. In the next step, Enter your phone number for verification, then follow the verification method. In this case we will use the QR code method











J. After verification, you will be successfully logged in to your new account.



  1. Back in your workspace, click at the share icon to share the workbook on your work email. After sharing the sheet you will be able to access the workbooks.


Note: This is a one-time process. For new iterations, you won’t need to share the workbook each time; you just need to log in using the same Google account profile. Make sure the Google account is created using the same work email address associated with your ConfigBot account.
