ConfigBot WD - How to Update BP Security Policies in Security.

Security - BP Security Policies

The following article will help to explain how you can update a “BP Security Policies” in Workday through Configbot.

  1. Enter your Username and Password and click on the submit button to login.

  1. Navigate towards the "Home screen" and click on the " Platform Panel" and then Click on Security Module.

  1. Select the workspace that best suits your preferences or requirements.

  1. Navigate to the generated workbook (in my case, Iteration #2) and open the workbook.

  1. Navigate to the worksheet tab labeled as “BP Security Policies”.

  1. We can only update the policies in this sheet, no any new data be added.

  1. Close the Workbook, navigate back to your workspace, click on the hamburger menu and select start configuration option.

  1. The Start Configuration pop-up window will appear. Enter your Workday password and provide any relevant execution notes. Then, select the checkbox for the “BP Security Policies”. Finally, click the "Confirm and Start" button.

  1. You can track the progress of iteration by clicking on Information Icon (i).

  1. Once the status shows "Complete," then return to the workbook to confirm that the data was successfully Updated. The following rows and their fields will be highlighted in green, indicating successful execution. Additionally, the Processing Status will be changed to Processed.

  1. To confirm the changes made, navigate to the "BP Security Policies” window by searching for it by name using the search bar on the Workday Home page.

This confirms a successful execution where a new “BP Security Policies” was updated to the Security Module using ConfigBot, ensuring accurate data transfer and configuration within Workday.

Thank you!
