The following article will help to explain how you can add or update a “Work Schedule Calendar Group” in Workday through Configbot.
- Enter your Username and Password and click on the submit button to login.
- Navigate towards the "Home screen" and click on the "HCM Panel" and then Click on Time Tracking Module.
- Select the workspace that best suits your preferences or requirements.
- Navigate to the generated workbook (in my case, Iteration #2) and open the workbook.
- Navigate to the worksheet tab labeled as ‘Work Schedule Calendar Group”.
- Provide the “Name” for the “Work Schedule Calendar Group”, Select “Yes or No” for “Inactive column”, Add the “Comments” and then Add the “Work Schedule Calendar”, then select processing status as “Pending” for starting the process.
- Close the Workbook, navigate back to your workspace, click on the hamburger menu and select start configuration option.
- The Start Configuration pop-up window will appear. Enter your Workday password and provide any relevant execution notes. Then, select the checkbox for the “Work Schedule Calendar Group”. Finally, click the "Confirm and Start" button.
- You can track the progress of iteration by clicking on Information Icon (i).
- Once the status shows "Complete," then return to the workbook to confirm that the data was successfully added. The following rows and their fields will be highlighted in green, indicating successful execution. Additionally, the Processing Status will be changed to Processed.
- To confirm the changes made, navigate to the ‘View Work Schedule Calendar Group' window by searching for it by name using the search bar on the Workday Home page.
This confirms a successful execution where a new “Work Schedule Calendar Group” was added to the Time Tracking Module using ConfigBot, ensuring accurate data transfer and configuration within Workday.
