ConfigBot for ServiceNow – Platform Assessment
The Platform Assessment module of ConfigBot provides a comprehensive health and complexity assessment of a ServiceNow instance by analysing platform configurations, customizations, CMDB health, catalog complexity, plugin utilization, and operational metrics. It helps organizations understand overall platform maturity, upgrade readiness, governance posture, and areas requiring optimisation.
The module generates assessment reports covering platform complexity, customization density, CMDB freshness, catalog and record producer complexity, knowledge activity, foundation data, login statistics, and application usage metrics. This enables administrators and platform owners to identify configuration drift, excessive customization, stale CMDB data, and operational inefficiencies while supporting better governance, migration planning, and platform optimization decisions.
